Do you feel like your company could be more efficient with its time and money? One of the worst feelings someone can have is to feel like they’ve wasted a great deal of time, and businesses owners are no different. Waste and inefficiency are awful things to find within one’s business. Thankfully, VoIP telephone systems offer every business these three ways to save time:
1) No hardware and maintenance
VoIP phone systems will actually help you save time before you even begin to utilize it. Indeed, VoIP systems hardly require any hardware. Large, physical PBXs are a thing of the past now thanks to IPPBXs, which are IP-based, virtual PBXs hosted by your service provider. This means that no manpower will be required for both the deployment of the system and its maintenance, thus allowing you to reallocate resources and employees to other domains or systems and thus save time. The time required for deployment is also incredibly short, and can require as little as a few hours. This means that the downtime between your old and new systems will be very short.
2) Roaming options
VoIP offers a lot of options for employees on the road. Where employees out of office were once required to return to the office for certain new developments in existing projects, they can now make use of VoIP telephony to take care of their business while roaming. Indeed, Voicemail-to-email allows these roaming employees to receive voicemail wherever they may be by accessing it through their email, while the virtual nature of VoIP allows calls to be made and received through an office extension from outside the office, thus allowing employees to take and make calls through the company’s system even while on the road. Both these options will allow employees to reduce wasted time, since they no longer need to return to the office for incoming calls.
3) Auto-Dialer
For marketing departments, auto-dialers may only help save a very small amount of time. However, by setting up a queue of numbers to call, the auto-dialer can be setup to reduce the time required for dialing, thus reducing the time required for each and every call made. Obviously, when considered over a long lapse of time, the time saved on each call quickly adds up. The result is a much more efficient telemarketing effort that gets more work done every day.
With these three VoIP advantages, a business can easily save a lot of time. This time can then be spent on other tasks to get those done earlier, too.
