It’s always a good idea to take into account the makeup of your intended audience so that your message can be tailored to their specific range of ages, genders, and any other factors influencing their perspective. Sometimes the way you say something can be more important than the message itself, so you should always be aware of how you want to deliver your message. For starters, making eye contact with people in the audience will help to establish a connection, and will convey the notion that you aren’t just speaking to them.
